Bronte Welsh Gives Back

(ZIZ News) — The staff and students of the Bronte Welsh Primary School have been celebrating Independence by giving back to the community.

This past week, the school donated food baskets to two elderly persons in the area.

Verna Noras of West Farm and Leroy Parris of Lower Stonefort Project, Challengers got a pleasant surprise on Friday when students and staff members visited their homes to present the baskets.

Principal Virgil Jeffers told ZIZ that it’s part of their way of giving back to the community which the school serves.

He said it was also fitting as it’s Independence time and both recipients or their families have been instrumental in the growth of the Bronte Welsh Primary School.
