C.O.P. addresses domestic violence

ZIZ News…16th May 2013 — Commissioner of Police Celvin Walwyn has re-emphasized the police’s commitment to tackling domestic violence cases.

He was speaking with ZIZ following the capture of Raymond Pemberton who was wanted for attempted murder.

This incident started off as a domestic violence case and Walwyn says the police have taken steps to improve how they tackle these matters.

He says one of the main reasons for capturing Pemberton was to give peace of mind to his family and the family of the victim.
