Sports Page — The Calypso Cricket team, got the better of the Easterns team in a second division encounter played on Saturday 16th May at the Cotton Ground playing field.
Easterns batted first and managed 110 all out.
J. Huggins top scored with 30; R. Fyfield 18 and S. Hobson 13.
For the Calypso team, Earl David bagged 3 wickets; Merlin Liburd 2; Frank Monzac 2; Balgobin 1 and Samaroo 1.
When the Calypso team batted, they practically coasted to victory, led by an unbroken opening partnership between Duan Webbe 44 not out and Jamie Cornelius 28 not out.
The Calypso team won by 10 wickets.
