Cannabis use continues to be a big issue in the Federation

ZIZ News…April 18, 2013 — Two more young men, one from St. Kitts and one from Nevis, were recently arrested for Cannabis possession.

Jamarie Lewis of Manchester Avenue was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 16th April 2013. Deon Walters of Stoney Grove was also formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 16th April 2013.

Meanwhile at the Magistrate Court, Juan Silves of West Bourne Ghaut was convicted for the offence of Larceny which was committed on 27th December 2012 and fined $2,500.00. This fine is to be paid within five (5) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison.
