Caribbean Baptist Fellowship Executive Meeting

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 24, 2019 (ZIZ News): Members of the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship’s executive body gathered at the bird rock beach hotel to convene their annual executive meeting on Wednesday, under the theme “We are one in Christ”.

The meeting brings together Baptist church leaders from all over the region including Jamaica, Trinidad, the Cayman Islands, Haiti, St. Vincent and Grenada.

Lead pastor of the Antioch Baptist church in St. Kitts, Pastor Lincoln Conner explained the significance of the executive meeting.

The meeting brings together the executive of the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship which was formulated in 1970 to assess the work and the life and the vision of the Baptist work in the Caribbean.”

Pastor Connor also explained the work of the Baptist church.

Baptist remain very prolific and strong denomination in the region and the work of the Baptist church is to seek to bring liberation and alleviation to individuals who otherwise would not be able to get their issues addressed outside of the church.”

The Caribbean Baptist fellowship’s week of activities continues on Thursday with the Baptists’ gathering and on Friday with a youth rally where the youth of the Baptist churches across the Federation will showcase their creative skills.
