Caribbean Governance Training Institute Hosts Chartered Director Program

The Caribbean Governance Training Institute is hosting its Chartered Director Program for the fourth time here in St. Kitts.

According to Executive Chairman of Caribbean Governance Training Institute, Dr. Chris Bart, the programme is designed to help directors become 21st century governance literate.

Dr. Bart outlined what will be discussed during the 3-day programme.

He said at the end of the programme participants are expected to put what has been discussed into practice.

Evrette Martin said as the General Manager of the Bank of Nevis, it was important for him to be a part of the program as he finds it necessary for persons at the management level to also understand the role of directors.

Upon completion of the program, delegates will be eligible to write a qualifying examination that will earn them the right to use the internationally recognized designation “Chartered Director” (C.Dir.)
