ZIZ News — The Caribbean Lottery, under its parent company Gtech Corporation, yesterday [Wednesday] launched the Caribbean Lottery after school advantage programme at the St. Christopher Children’s Home.

Gtech’s after school advantage programme is the company’s global philanthropic initiative, in which non-profit agencies are provided with well-equipped computer centres for the educational development of children.

Gtech Antilles Lotteries account development manager Mr. Brendan Hames, in brief remarks at the launch, said the success of the programme is based on its impact on the children.

In presenting the feature address, chairman of the St. Christopher Children’s Home and Service league Sebastian Mottram thanked the Caribbean Lottery for the establishment of the programme at the home and assured those present that the children will benefit greatly from it.

For each after school advantage programme, Gtech invests an average of us $ 15,000 in information technology machinery and manpower.
