Caribbean Water and Waste Water Conference to Be Held in St. Kitts

(ZIZ News)– As the scheduled date for the hosting of the 28th Annual Caribbean Water and Waste Water Conference nears, the CWWA host a media conference to sensitize the public of the impending 5-day event that will take place from October 14th to 18th at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.

The Caribbean Water and Waste Water Association is a regional non- governmental organization established by an act of parliament in Trinidad and Tobago.

President of the CWWA Mark Barnett outlined what the association is about.

Minister of Public Infrastructure Hon. Ian Liburd spoke of the significance of the conference which is expected to bring key stakeholders together to interact and share advice and best practices.

The annual conference will be held under theme securing the Caribbean’s future financing the water and waste sectors.

Minister of Water Services in the Nevis Island Assembly Hon. Spencer Brand said the theme highlights the significance of water across the region.

Within the margins of the CWWA conference, ministers of water will congregate at a high level forum as has been done for the past 14 years of the conference’s 28 year history.

The conference will also feature an exhibition which brings together 400 participants from the Caribbean, Latin America, North America and Europe. It serves as an opportunity for participants to exchange information and experiences to network and be exposed to cutting edge technology, products and services.
