CARIFTA Games Continue
(ZIZ News) — The 44th edition of the CARIFTA Games continued on Saturday with a number of events including the girls’ shot put, octathlon boys’ 100 metre dash open, the long jump and the 400 metre hurdles.
A number of countries, including defending champions Jamaica, Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago, have already picked up medals so far.
Up until early Saturday afternoon, host country St. Kitts and Nevis was yet to bag a medal at the games.
The event would continue on Sunday with the 110 metre hurdles open, girls’ long jump open, boys’ javelin throw, girls’ shot put, boys’ high jump and the 4 by 100 metre finals.
