Carnival Breeze visits, over 7,000 cruise passengers this week

Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) — The second cruise ship to visit St. Kitts this week, docked at Port Zante on Wednesday.

The 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze arrived from St. Maarten with 4,619 passengers and a crew of 1,371.

The Carnival Breeze is the second cruise vessel to visit st. Kitts this week, The 2,112-passenger Jewel of the Seas berth at Port Zante on Monday with 2,393 passengers on board.

The visit of both ships brought a total of 7,012 passengers.

A third ship, the 2,974-passenger Carnival Valor is scheduled to make its weekly scheduled call on Friday.

Most of the 7000 passengers from the Carnival Breeze and the Jewel of the Seas came ashore and went on sight-seeing tours in Basseterre and island wide via the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, buses or taxis. Scores also headed for the sea and sun bathing on the beaches, snorkeling, sailing, horseback riding and shopping.
