CFBC Dance Ensemble issues dance recital alert

The CFBC Dance Ensemble is gearing up for another recital, slated for Saturday 2nd April, 2016. With the largest company of dancers ever, totalling fifty-five this year, the recital promises to be very spirited and entertaining.

After two decades of dance, the ensemble continues to provide CFBC students with a balance between academics and the Arts, thereby allowing them to express themselves through dance. They are trained in genres such Jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Lyrical, Contemporary and Folk, just to name a few. The longevity of the organization is attributed to the outstanding direction and experience of Julie Martin and the excellent tutelage of Heidi Slack, a dance teacher and veteran practitioner of the Performing Arts.

At present, the group is being managed by a hard working executive comprising Taji Hamilton- President, Roberitine Webbe – Vice President, Javes Charles – Secretary/Treasurer, Chelsea Amory- Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Khalifa Pencheon- PRO, Saroya Richardson- SGA Rep and Shanelia Francis- Nominated Member.
