CFBC Hosts Women Of Color Empowerment Awards

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 9th,  2021 (ZIZ News) In commemoration of International Women’s Day on Monday, Team B.E.T.S (Building, Elevating and Transforming our Students) of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College honored six women at the Women of Color Empowerment Awards 2021 at the college’s Poinciana Conference room.

The award ceremony is the first of its kind and served to award proud and empowering women as they demonstrate excellence in ethical conduct, integrity and empowerment within their social environment.

Lecturer at the CFBC Seana Williams Rogers assumed the role of Motivational speaker for the event and spoke on the topic “Empowered Women Empower Women”

The B.E.T.S Empowerment Awardees for 2021 are Samantha Fox, Sheila Morris, Clytie Gilbert, Lavern Brookes, Anic Bruno and Dr. Moyia Rowtham.

Dr. Moyia Rowtham thanked the B.E.T.S team on behalf of the awardees.

The guests of honor at the Women of Color Empowerment Awards 2021 were Patricia Isles-Caesar, Lelia Julie Martin, Carlene Henry Morton and Charmine Nicholls- Knight.
