CG Rebels in Finals-Yet Again

Sports Page – Friday 7th June 2013 — The experienced CG Rebels team and defending champions of local Basketball, is once again into the finals of the ongoing Basketball league being hosted by the Nevis Amateur Basketball Association.

This feat was achieved on the evening of Thursday 6th June when they defeated CG Massives for the second consecutive match in the best of three play offs.

CG Rebels won the first two quarters quite easily but CG Massives responded strongly in the latter two, tying the third and just losing the final quarter by two points—but it was not enough to stop the defending champions.

The playoffs are now officially over.. C G Rebels and Bronx Crisis have made it to finals. They will be playing for the 1st and 2nd place respectively. C G Massive and PJ’s will be playing for the 3rd place spot. The finals begin on Sunday 09th June 7:00pm at the Grell Hull-Stevens Netball Complex where the first of best of three starts with C G Rebels and Bronx Crisis.
