CHAA Official Visits SKN

ZIZ News September 25, 2013 — A senior official of the Caribbean HIV Aids alliance is in St. Kitts meeting with local stakeholders as they plan for their new year of activities.

Technical director at CHAA’s regional office, Dylis Mc Donald told ZIZ that they are working with the government to ensure confidentiality of persons who work in the health sector.

She says they are also looking at keeping their programs going here, considering that the economic climate shows that there may be a shortage of funds for the alliance.

Over the years the alliance has been working with various bodies including the churches to reach out to persons most at risk for HIV Aids, offering counseling, testing and other services.
