Chamber of Industry and Commerce Christmas Luncheon

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 13, 2019 (ZIZ News):

Members of the St. Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SKNCIC) gathered at the Carambola Beach Club on Thursday for their annual Christmas luncheon.

The luncheon brought together persons from organizations in both the private and public sectors and among them were Republic Bank’s Country Manager, Pamela Herbert-Daniel and Managing Director, Michelle Palmer who was the featured speaker.

In his opening remarks, President of the SKNCIC, Faron Lawrence reflected on the history of the SKNCIC and the developments made during 2019 that has impacted the industry noting that members must always be aware of these developments and make the necessary adjustments if they are to remain in business.

During her address Michelle Palmer shared the story of Republic Bank and explained what sets them apart from other banks.

What distinguishes us we think, is our ability to add value to the markets that we enter through developmental approach that ensures strong local input, strong local knowledge and strong local influence and authority in decision making.”

The St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SKNCIC) is a private sector organization in which the focus is to nurture and create the right environment to foster sustainable economic growth.
