(ZIZ News) — The Chamber Of Industry and Commerce hosted its 68th Annual General Meeting at the St. Kitts Marriott conference room on Wednesday.
President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Jose Rosa explained that the meeting is a form of reflecting on the past year to help improve the relationship between members of the organization both regionally and internationally.
“The focus of the Chamber and the Board of Directors is to bring value to our members. Within this past year, I truly believe that we have taken steps in the right direction to prove the value of the Chamber in enhancing businesses”, he said.
The Chamber’s President went on to explain the purpose of having other forums and presentations on upcoming initiatives throughout the year stating that the focus will be on the Tourism and Manufacturing sectors among many others.
Quite a number of topics were addressed during the meeting, including, the upcoming Heart of St. Kitts’ week of activities that began on Saturday February 25.
The Hon. Lindsay Grant, members of the Chamber, Board Directors, Ambassador Of The Republic Of China On Taiwan (His Excellency George Gow Wei Chiou), Heart of St. Kitts representatives, members of the public and private sector and other government officials were present at the meeting.
The Chamber Of Industry And Commerce’s annual general meeting began at midday and ended around 3: 30 pm.
