CHAMPS donates to Cayon High

Members of the Cayon High Alumni and Mentorship Programme for Students (CHAMPS) donated a refrigerator to the Home Management Department of Cayon High in a short ceremony at the school on Monday.

President of CHAMPS, Lloyd Grant explained that the principal contacted CHAMPS and expressed a need for some equipment for the school.

Principal of Cayon High School, Francil Morris thanked the CHAMPS organization for the donation.

The refrigerator was first presented to Education Officer in the Ministry of Education Roger Woodley who then handed it over to the principal.

Secretary of CHAMPS, Avenelle Warde announced that the group will be launching a mentorship programme for the students at Cayon High.

CHAMPS was organized 4 and a half years ago by past students of Cayon High to provide assistance to both the school and community.
