Charles Emanuel set to reveal upcoming Mixtape…Live

ZIZ News…Jan 21, 2013 — Local singer, songwriter and musician Charles Emanuel in collaboration with Island Xpressions are set to present a live showcase for his upcoming mixtape entitled “Invincible” on Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at Sweet Lime Ma Pau.

The event, which acts as a stepping stone to the official internet release of the project, will also feature local acts that are featured on the project. They also will perform alongside Emanuel and the band of the night, Limitless LP.

As indicated through his Facebook fan page, Twitter and interviews with local media houses and radio stations, Charles Emanuel has completed his first collection of original material around September of last year and is now ready to share it with the world.

The mixtape which features 6 six songs (including the first single and title track to the mixtape – Invincible) is said to be a combination of island influenced music combined with R&B/Soul vocals to which he likes to call “Island Soul”. Emanuel also promises that this mixtape will show a different side to Emanuel musically, as he is more known for his Acoustic/Soul performances.

Invincible – the single – was released on November 21st, 2012 on Freedom FM and shortly after was then officially released on Emanuel’s Soundcloud account (https://soundcloud.com/charlesemanuelmusic) for free download.
