ZIZ News — On Wednesday, agricultural stakeholders will come together to look back at the past year and chart the way forward for the sector.
This will be done at the Department of Agriculture’s Annual Review and Planning Meeting.
Communications Officer at the department, Eric Browne said this is the perfect avenue for stakeholders to give their input on this important sector.
He said, “It’s important to get the feedback from stakeholders and get their input, especially the farmers. And we encourage the farmers to come on out and speak their mind and hopefully we can have the other consumers like the hotels, restaurants and supermarkets be there as well and give their input.”
The Minister of Agriculture, hon. Nigel Carty will also make a presentation at the meeting.
The 2014 Agriculture Review and Planning Meeting takes place at the new Conference Room at the Department of Agriculture.
