Chevening Alumni of SKN association offering full application support

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 10, 2019 (ZIZ News): The Chevening Alumni Association of St Kitts and Nevis has launched a new initiative dubbed the “‘Chevening Applications Support Scheme’ to help nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis secure the all-expenses paid Chevening scholarship.

The Chevening Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship to undertake any Master’s degree course at any university in the United Kingdom.

Group Leader of the Chevening Alumni Association of St. Kitts and Nevis, Sonia Boddie-Thompson said the association is more than excited to assist in helping nationals achieve the scholarship.

She said the launch of the initiative is necessary considering that no one received scholarships in 2019.

Thompson said that the Chevening Alumni Association will increase efforts by using a more targeted approach to get more persons from St. Kitts and Nevis involved.

The Chevening Group Leader said that the association noticed that many persons waited until the last minute to produce the required essays. She encouraged interested applicants to take advantage of the 3 month period to prepare their applications.

The deadline for the Chevening Scholarship is November 5 2019. Applicants for the Chevening Scholarship must have an undergraduate degree, and at least two years of work experience.
