For about 11 years the Christophe Harbour Foundation has been assisting various organizations in St. Kitts and Nevis through numerous projects and on Tuesday evening the foundation held an event to sensitize other groups that they are willing to help.

Tammy Darby, Chair of the Christophe Harbour Foundation Board gave an overview of the foundation’s work and said it is their mission to enhance the natural environment and lives of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis

Among the previous beneficiaries was the Department of Youth Empowerment and according to Director of Youth Pierre Liburd the foundation’s assistance has been invaluable.

Previous community focused activities by the Christophe Harbour Foundation include the provision of fire extinguishers in all preschools, a literacy professional development workshop, and donation of medical equipment to local hospitals.
