Christophe Harbour continues to do well, Media Professionals Tour Sites

(ZIZ News) — Christophe Harbour is doing well.

That disclosure came on Wednesday morning during a tour of the marina on the South East Peninsula.

Media professionals were able to get a first hand view of the significant developmental strides made at Christophe Harbour.

Approximately half a dozen boats were seen at the marina which has really picked up in business in recent months.

While speaking with Director of Marketing, Katherine Verano, ZIZ News learnt of that progress.

“We’ve made a lot of progress in the last 18 months. We’ve seen about five to six new houses under construction. We have seen new buyers come in from all parts of the world. Clearly, St. Kitts and Nevis is on the map so, we’re getting a lot of walk in traffic. I mean just to the site here to the sales office has tripled since last year so that’s good news for us,” she said.

Verano also revealed the short term plans for her company, noting that employment opportunities will soon become available.

“Obviously we’re in our embassy here in the marina village. The shore side construction will begin soon and we’ll have retail opportunities, we’ll have provisioning services, any number of trades…truly the list is endless. The opportunities are right for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit to take advantage of. We’ve got a lot to learn from our neighbours in Antigua. They’ve been doing it a long time and they have established a really amazing sailing community, yachting community and we’re about to do the same here,” she said.

Among the highlights of Christophe Harbour are the Pavilion Beach Club, the marina and Salt Plage.
