Churches Want to Do More

ZIZ News September 26 2013 — The Chairperson of the St. Kitts Christian Council says there are plans to get Churches more involved in community based activities and actively reach out to those in need.

Reverend Nasel Ephraim gave ZIZ an update on the council’s ongoing programme to distribute food parcels to persons living with HIV.

Reverend Ephraim says she also wants educate the public about human trafficking.

She says the main goal is to educate as many people as possible about HIV / AIDS and other socially relevant topics.
