Cocaine, Ammunitions and Firearm Seized

ZIZ News — Security forces last week successfully removed quantities of cocaine and an illegal firearm from the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis.

A police report stated that on Thursday, the Special Services Unit and Drug Squad teamed with Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise Department Enforcement Unit and launched simultaneous operations, executing search warrants on the premises of Carla Hendrickson, Patrick Weekes, and Dwayne Martin, all of Bird Rock.

The officers were acting on intelligence gathered that suggested the individuals were involved in illegal narcotic activity.

At Patrick Weekes’ residence, a quantity of cocaine was discovered. Weekes and Cassanya Lanns of St. Paul’s Village, who was present at the time of the search, were taken into police custody. Both Weekes and Lanns were formally arrested and charged for possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Officers also found cocaine at the residence of Carla Hendrickson and Dwayne Martin…as well as an unlicensed gun and thirteen matching rounds of ammunition.

The cocaine, firearm and ammunition were confiscated by police. Carla Hendrickson and Dwayne Martin were arrested and charged for possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of firearm and possession of ammunition.
