Community Development Department To Host Domino Competition

As part of the activities to celebrate community development month for 2021, the Community Development Department is set to host a grand Domino tournament, as its last official activity for the month.

According to Community Development officer, Michael WISE Herbert, the competition will be held at Market Shop, inside the Gingerland Public Market, on Saturday 29th May, with the preliminary games and Sunday 30th May, with the semifinals and final encounters.

Registration is just $50.00 per team and persons can register on the day of the completion.

The winner will walk away with a monetary prize of $1,500.00

Second Place $1,200.00

Third Place $1,000.00

Fourth Place $800.00

A number of institutions and individuals have come forward to sponsor the tournament:

The Community Development Department; Hon. Eric Evelyn, Hon. Vance Amory, Hon. Troy Liburd.

The action commences at 12:00 noon on May 29th.

Registration commences at 11:30 pm
