Sports Page — Laison Officer for the Gingerland area, Michael WISE Herbert indicated on Wednesday that the much anticipated sports day to be hosted by the Community Development department, is definitely on for this coming weekend.
The twice postponed activity which is all a part of a very busy month of activities for the department in the month of May, is now set for Sunday 31st May.
The action will commence at the ET Willet Park at 1 pm and will feature many fun activities, with Cricket being the main feature of the day.
Male and female teams will face off against each other in some five overs a side contests.
Teams can register even on that same day at absolutely no cost but can win attractive prizes in the process. Both male and female winning teams will receive huge trophies. Here will also be monetary prizes and will include best batter-male and female; best bowler—male and female; most sixes and most runs.
The general public is cordially invited to be a part of this exciting event.
