Company to sell lands
ZIZ News… July 9, 2013 — A company has been established to take control of the land for debt swap initiative.
Prime Minister, The Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas announced that a board of directors has been installed for National Land Sales Company St. Kitts Limited.
Prime Minister Douglas says the board has already met and after initial transactions the debt to GDP ratio has dropped.
The company’s board of directors is made up of six members: three appointed by national bank, and three appointed by the government.
The members are Linkon Maynard, Mitchell Gumbs, and Mellicia Phillip representing the bank, and Chairman Wendell Lawrence, Dr Lousia Lawrence and Rudolph Morton representing the government.
