However like the last election held in 2011 it was not until late in the morning the final results were made known. This was a great matter of concern for the election pundits, commentators and the voters as well.

Joseph Parry and Robelto Hector of the Nevis reformation Party held on to their seats.

The supporters of the CCM were out in their numbers celebrating this morning as the news spread that a new government has been elected in Nevis. There were motorcades from all parts of Nevis coming into Charlestown to celebrate with their representatives.

It is expected that today will be a holiday in Nevis as the celebrations continue to welcome back the CCM to run the affairs of Nevis for the next five years.

This election of 2013 became necessary after the courts ruled that the election of 2011 in the St. Johns constituency was declared null and void.

Congratulations are in order for the Leader of the CCM Vance Amory and his party on winning the 2013 general election in Nevis.
