Constituency Number Seven’s Week of Activities Begins

DrVanceGilbertB(ZIZ)– Constituency number 7 began its week of activities with a ground breaking ceremony in Belle Vue last Saturday (March 8th).

ZIZ News caught up with the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party Candidate for Constituency #7, Dr. Vance Gilbert, who told us why they are holding these activities.

“We have joined with the different constituencies of the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party in having a week of activities basically just to raise the awareness of what we plan to do going forward.”

Dr. Gilbert added, “We started some visits to the primary schools where I was able to do a health talk to the school and also make a donation to the schools. We will continue that for the rest of the week visiting all of the different primary schools.”

Other activities for the week include a Health Fair on Tuesday, visits to residents of the community on Wednesday and the opening of the Police Station at Tabernacle, on Thursday there will be a Town Hall Meeting in Tabernacle and on Friday there will be the grand opening of Constituency Office in Lodge Project and the start of a domino competition.

The week of activities conclude on Saturday with a Labour Trail Health Walk and a Rally.
