Cool Down Fete a success
ZIZ News — Sugar Mas 42 events ended last evening with the Carnival “Cool Down Fete” held on the open lawn at Frigate Bay.
In an interview with ZIZ News, Carnival Chairman Sylvester Anthony commended the bands for their performances and says the fete was well attended and everyone had a good time.
He said, “It was a great fete. There was a huge crowd over there and it was really a cool down. The bands — we had Kollision, Grand Masters and Small Axe bands there — and they performed admirably.”
Anthony says the Cool Down Fete was a fitting end to the Sugar Mas 42 celebrations, adding, “it went very well…we ended it on a high note even though it was a “cool” high note.”
Sugar Mas 42 was celebrated from November 22nd to January 5th.
