CPL Host Press Conference

With the 2021 edition of the Caribbean Premier league, set to commence in St. Kitts on Thursday 26th  August, Coaches of the various teams, faced the press on Monday 23rd August and outlined aspects of team readiness; arrival of players and training sessions.

Most of the players have already arrived in St. Kitts and the teams have already engaged in practice sessions.

Imran Jan of the defending champions Trinbago Knightriders, is especially upbeat and is serving notice that his team members are upbeat and ready to defend their hard earned championship.

He is just awaiting the arrival of two players who are currently engaged in the Pakistan versus West Indies test series, which concludes in Jamaica today.

CPL 2021 bowls off on Thursday 26th August with Guyana Amazon Warriors v Trinbago Knight Riders at 10 am

The home team, St. Kitts-Nevis patriots will engage the Barbados Tridents that same day, starting at 7pm.
