CPS Edges Out JLPS In Close Encounter

Sports Page—Tuesday 9th July 2013 — As the matches in the ongoing Primary School Cricket league continue, there have been a few exciting clashes between the teams so far.

On Monday 8th July, there was breath taking finish between two competitive teams: JLPS and CPS.

The Charlestown Primary team batted first and scored 42 for 5 in their 10 overs. Unbelievably, the Jocelyn Liburd Primary School got to 41 for 5 when their 10 overs ran out!

In a match played on Friday 5th July, CPS scored 94 for 5 in 10 overs versus St. Thomas’ Primary and St. Thomas’ in response could only muster 73 for 4 from their 10. Matches continue today.
