Crisis Communication Workshop

(ZIZ)Tourism stakeholders will be meeting today Thursday 21st to review communication procedures during a crisis.

The Crisis Communication Workshop takes place at the Marriott resort and according to facilitator Candice Adams Kimmel they’ll be looking at using twitter as a news agency instead of just a social media network.

She says by using twitter tourism representatives can address any crisis instantly and release factual information quickly.

The Crisis Communication Workshop participants include members of the police force, the fire department, tourism authority staff, other interested ministries and the media.
