Cuban Graduation Ceremony
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 27, 2019 (ZIZ News): The 15th annual Cuban Graduation Ceremony was held on Thursday at the Anglican Church Hall under the theme “Education and Globalization the way forward”.
The graduation was held for nationals who took the opportunity to study at various universities in Cuba.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Education, the Honourable Shawn Richards, Chief Personnel Officer, Torfrida Rochester urged the graduates to continue to pursue knowledge not only for their personal development but also for the betterment of the Federation.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class of 2019, Meriskah Phipps thanked the government of St. Kitts and Nevis for the opportunity to study abroad.
The graduating class 2019 consists of Kalieahh Cannonier, Chanella Nisbeth, Meriskah Phipps and Dr. Natalie Osbourne.
