Culturama 40 Launched in Nevis
(ZIZ)–Hundreds of Nevisians, Kittitians, returning nationals and visitors assembled at the Charlestown Harbour on Thursday for the Grand Launch of Culturama 40.
The launch, which marked the first official activity of this year’s festival, was punctuated with speeches and entertainment.
Culturama 40 or C-40 as it is also known will run until August 5th with day and evening activities.
Some of the major activities for this year’s festival include the Culturama 40 Drag Racing Meet and the Mr. and Ms. Talented Youth Pageant and Junior Kaiso Contest on Sunday July 27th; the Culturama 40 Ms. Culture Swimwear and Mr. Kool Contests on Wednesday July 30th; Tender Care International C40 Freedom Concert on Thursday July 31st; Culturama 40 Ms. Culture Queen Pageant on Friday August 1st and the Culturama 40 Senior Kaiso Contest on Sunday August 3rd.
In related news, the first ever mobile app for Nevis’ Culturama festival is now available for free download.
“This app will deliver features rich in content to users on any android and or IOS mobile devices,” the release noted.
