Culturama Chair wants Community’s Support

(ZIZ News) — Chairperson of the 41st edition of Nevis’ Culturama Festival, Deborah Tyrell is calling on members of the Nevisian, Kittitian and overseas communities to support the festival by attending the events.

Tyrell’s call came during Friday’s launch of the senior pageants’ contestants in Charlestown.

She said, “We have the Bar Crawls that we want to see you participate in. We also have the Panorama Competition, the dramatic presentations at NEPAC and the Aquatic Extravaganza coordinated by Mr. Eric Evelyn and the Empire Sports Club. Not to be missed will be the performances of our junior persons in the Master and Miss Talented Youth and the Junior Calypso Competition, our new Soca Monarch Competition, the Senior Calypso Competition and of course J’ouvert Morning followed by the display of troupes on parade on Tuesday.”

Culturama 41 will run from July 23rd to August 4th 2015 under the theme “Culture, Fete and Fun: Culturama 41.”
