Culturama Official Pleased with Nevis’ Participation in Carnival

(ZIZ News) — With this year’s National Carnival Queen contestants already launched, Executive Director of Nevis’ Culturama Secretariat, Antonio Liburd, says he is thrilled that Nevis will be well represented during this year’s National Carnival events.

On Monday afternoon, it was revealed that Nevisians would also be entering the Mr. GQ and National Carnival Swimwear Contests and the National Carnival Calypso and Soca Monarch Contests.

“We over here on Nevis, especially from the Culturama Secretariat, are delighted to know that our participants and past winners could be afforded that opportunity to go over to St. Kitts and compete in the various competitions that would be held as part of Sugar Mas 44,” Liburd said.

ZIZ News understands that troupes from Culturama will also be part of the Carnival Street Parade.
