Date for the soft opening of St. Kitts’ newest resort to be announced soon

Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) — Public Relations Officer & Owners, Concierge, at Kittitian Hill, Ms. Johan Kelly said Tuesday that a date for the soft opening of St. Kitts’ newest resort will soon be announced.

She told the Communications Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM) that 84 cottages already construction in the hills of Belmont overlooking St. Paul’s, will soon be completed.

An additional 16 villas are also under construction, Ms. Kelly disclosed.

“The Refinery is in its final stage of construction.  This is where the check-in and lobby, fitness centre, restaurant, Sugar Mill bar and the main pool are located,” she said.

Ms. Kelly also disclosed that construction is also progressing towards the overall completion of Belle Mont Farm, Irie Fields Golf Course and the second hotel, The Village Inn.

“The Village Inn already has nine buildings under construction,” said Ms. Kelly.

She disclosed that both the Human Resource Director and the Director of Pre-Opening Operations have both been working fulltime for the past six months preparing for the soft opening of the first five-star hotel, Belle Mont Farm and Irie Field golf course.

“The soft opening of Belle Mont Farm will include 30 cottages, the Refinery, which houses the check-in and lobby, the fitness centre, the Refinery restaurant, the Sugar Mill bar and the main pool,” said Ms. Kelly.

She further disclosed that the driving range and the first six holes of the 18-hole golf course will be ready for play.

According to Ms. Kelly, the new owners, who recently acquired Golden Lemon, are currently refurbishing five of the 12 villas.
