Delegation of Youth Leaders Head to Guyana for CYEN 13th Biennial

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 8, 2019 (ZIZ News): A 3 member delegation of youth leaders from St. Kitts and Nevis left the island on Wednesday to participate in the Caribbean Youth Environmental Network (CYEN), 13th biennial Congress and Youth Environmental Summit.

The delegation comprises P-Della P Stanley, Lynelle Bonaparte and Tchaikouski York.

The event commemorates CYEN’s Silver Jubilee which is 25 years of environmental advocacy and development in the Caribbean.

The Summit is being held from August 8-14 in Georgetown Guyana.

The 13th biennial Congress and Youth Environmental Summit is being observed under the theme, “Building the resilience of the Caribbean through effective youth engagement and participation”
