At 8:35am today, by a letter dated 30th January 2013, my resignation from the Cabinet of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, was delivered to the Office of Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Hon. Denzil Douglas.

The recent developments pertaining to issues of Good Governance and Constitutional Integrity have brought me to the point where I feel constrained to tender my resignation as a Member of Cabinet, with immediate effect.

I remain committed to serve and to do the best that I can for the people of St. Christopher 3 and of the Nation in general, by the grace of God and by the will of the people.

I pray that God would continue to bless and guide our Country, so that we would emerge from this unchartered path with a fresh vision for living as brethren; and working together in respectful harmony, for the good of all.
