Dieppe Bay wins Primary School Championship
Kudos in order for the Dieppe Primary School for winning the Primary School Athletic Championship.
Regarded as one of the smallest primary school in St. Kitts they were able to overcome the odds and dethrone the Dr. William Connor Primary school who has won it over the past three years.
A number of persons called in to the Morning Show on ZIZ Radio to congratulate the Dieppe Bay Primary on winning the Championship for the first time.
Constituency representative, Opposition Leader the hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas also called in to the program and praised the Dieppe Primary School for their outstanding performance despite been one of the smallest schools in St.Kitts.
Meanwhile the President of the SKN Athletics Val Henry took time out to congratulate the winners and all the stakeholders who made the meet the success it was.
The top 3 in the points table at the end the meet on Sunday and held over two days are Dieppe Bay Primary with 9 Golds, 5 silver and 8 Bronze, Cayon High 7 Golds, 10 silver and 8 bronze, Dr. William Connor Primary 6 Golds, 9 silvers and 8 bronze.
More athletic action returns to the Kim Collins Stadium next weekend, Fr5iday, Saturday and Sunday when all the High Schools in the Federation go head to head for the Championship.
