Digicel Steps Out As A Digital Operator

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 21th , 2020 (ZIZ News): On Tuesday, Caribbean mobile phone network Digicel has launched itself as a Digital Operator by offering more services to customers through eight apps.

General Manager of Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis, Dionne Emtage explained the services that will be available to customers through these apps.

“We have launched several apps and these apps will keep customers connected for 1440 minutes of the day which means that they’re going to be connected to us all day every day and that is you can stream now with us, you can watch your sports with Sportsmax, you can watch live television with PlayGo on the go, you can listen to music through our DMusic app, you can stay connected through our MyDigicel app, you can stream live radio through GoLoud , you can do so much with us every single minute of every day so that means that customers have new access and we’re giving you the data to do that.”

Other apps available in the suite include LOOP for local and international news, BiP for advanced messaging and Billo for cloud storage.

She assured customers that the use of these apps will not attract any additional charge.

“So there are two things to be aware of the price plans that customers are existing on stay there, you have the choice to take these new plans and there’s not much of a move up so for an example our Hero plan is at the same price of what you’re paying right now for your existing plan but you’re getting triple the amount of data to do what you want so we are aware that in these times there is Covid and we are aware that people are challenged financially you can take a look at our site and you can see that our price plans are affordable and they make sense in terms of what you’re going to be getting for them.”
