Digicel’s New C.E.O.

(ZIZ News) – Joya Martin is the new Chief Executive Officer of Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis.

At the helm for approximately one month, the Antiguan native told ZIZ News she expects great things from the team she is now partnered with.

“I have been C.E.O. for exactly 4 weeks. I haven’t even moved here yet. I’m in progress. My dog is still in Antigua where I’m from so it’s very, very new but so far it’s been a great experience. I have a wonderful team here behind me and so I am expecting wonderful, extraordinary things going forward,” she said.

Martin also spoke of what she intends to bring to the bigger better network.

“I am expecting to be extraordinary; that’s our Digicel tagline and we live it every day here. St. Kitts and Nevis is a wonderful country and we’re looking to do great things here. Just to start we are investing over $700, 000 on the ground here in St. Kitts and Nevis to improve our network, to improve coverage. We are looking at everything from scratch because we want St. Kitts and Nevis to be the best,” she said.

Digicel St. Kitts-Nevis has been a fixture in the Federation for the past 10 years.
