Special Olympian Dionte Foster has returned home on two legs, following a week of intense training and rehabilitation.
Dionte travelled to Louisville Kentucky for one week to receive and learn how to use a prosthetic leg from louisville prosthetics.
While there Dionte got back on the tennis court for the first time in 3 years—since the amputation of his left leg due to bone cancer.
Dionte’s story was picked up by several local news agencies in Louisville and he was interviewed and featured in several news articles on television and online.
Dionte’s journey was also captured and documented by ESPN and will be aired by the Sport Network at a later date.
