Disability bus available to transport those in need of assistance

Secretary for the St. Kitts and Nevis Association for Persons with Disabilities Travia Douglas is reminding persons with disabilities and caretakers of persons with disabilities to take advantage of the disability bus services.

 

She said there are many persons who are still unaware that the bus is available to transport those in need of assistance which may include trips for medical appointments or business errands.

She also shared few words of encouragement to those persons who avoid asking the association for assistance because of pride.

Anyone who needs transport assistance can contact the association’s office 465-2151. You are also encouraged to book at least one day in advance.
