(ZIZ News) — On Saturday, the recently formed Nevis DJs Association partnered with Nevis’ Ministry of Youth and Sports to host an anti-crime rally dubbed “Musicians against Crime and Violence.”
Held in the capital city of Charlestown, the event commenced at 6pm and featured a speech by Junior Minister, Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams and musical renditions by local artists Tebulous and Delly Ranks.
Minister Brandy-Williams told the gathering that she will always be an advocate for youth. She commended the event’s organizers and pledged her administration’s continued support.
Perhaps the biggest treat of the evening was the energetic performance of the RGI Band, a band that comprises of inmates of Her Majesty’s Prison.
