On Wednesday morning the Concerned Citizens for a Better Mcknight made their annual presentation of supplies, this time to the second grade students of the Irish Town Primary School.
The presentation consisted of backpacks containing school supplies such as exercise books, pencils, a dictionary, and a calculator.
According to a statement from the association, the group feels that this contribution will greatly assist parents with school expenses.
Wednesday’s presentation followed another donation in July when the group presented a gift certificate of seven hundred dollars to Tia Nisbett to assist with the purchase of uniforms and books.
