Sports Page — An announcement coming from the Nevis Sports Department is indicating that the annual Culturama Drag Racing meet has been officially cancelled.
A release from the department on Wednesday stated simply:
‘I would like to officially inform you that the 2015 Culturama Drag-race has been cancelled. Too many issues at the track needs addressing, and with the date fast approaching it will be near impossible to get everything sorted out in a timely manner. Please inform all the relevant personnel including drivers, sponsors, partners, and all volunteers as soon as possible.’
