Driver charged for the death of a little girl in a traffic accident on Kim Collins Highway

ZIZ News…Feb 21 2012 — Kimo Liburd of Lodge Village has been formally arrested and charged for the death of a child following the car crash on Sunday evening.

The arrests came following the autopsy which was performed on the body of the late Janiah Johnson by resident pathologist Dr. Dora Magdariaga on Tuesday 21st February 2012.

According to the autopsy report, Janiah’s death was caused by head trauma as a consequence of a motor vehicle accident.

Kimo Liburd of Lodge project, the driver of motor car PA 1436 was formally arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving and will be taken before a Basseterre Magistrate shortly, where he is expected to be granted bail.

Investigations are still ongoing.
