Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 23, 2020 (ZIZ News): The Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) donated U.S 10 thousand dollars to the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC).
Director of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), Ervin Williams made the announcement during Friday’s NEOC daily briefing.
Williams said the contribution is to help provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for frontline workers.
He said the NTRC is encouraging the Telecommunications Service Providers to continue showing their corporate social responsibility to customers and to the government.
